Sleeker, Softer, Longer Distance For Every Golfer

Cobra Golf today introduces its fourth generation of King Forged Tec irons, refined with three significant improvements that include a 5-step forged body and face, a sleeker topline with reduced offset, and a lighter and softer foam for improved sound and feel. The hollow body design with tungsten weighting and Pwrshell technology provide enhanced distance with improved stability in a more compact shape.

Expanded to three different models, the King Forged Tec line delivers great looks soft feel, and precision for single-digit to mid-handicaps.

The Forged Tec and Tec One Length irons are player’s distance irons designed for players in the low to mid handicap range. Premium materials, a more precise forging process, and refined shaping deliver a compact, soft iron that caters to great ball strikers and those looking for added distance and forgiveness. While most player’s distance irons are cast, the Tec irons feature a 5-step forging process used in Tour calibre forgings for a softer feel and precise shaping. With a thinner topline and reduced offset to create a preferred player’s look at address, the King Forged Tec irons compact shaping belies the technology under the hood. A hollow body design is filled with a lighter and softer foam material to promote more distance while maintaining great sound, feel and feedback. Each iron features a forged Pwrshell face to create maximum speed and high launch.  A 20g tungsten toe weight centres the CG perfectly behind the sweet spot for pure feeling ball strikes with added stability on off-centre hits.

Shafts: KBS $-Taper Lite steel (R110) and (S115), KBS TGI graphite 75 (R) and 85 (S, XS)

The Forged Tec One Length irons are configured with a constant, 7-iron length setup and promote one repeatable setup, posture, and swing for more consistency, centred contact and accuracy. Each iron matches the weight and length of a 7-iron, yet allows for optimal distances and gapping between irons, as well as consistent feel.

Available in (5-PW), left-hand and graphite options available through custom.

Shafts: KBS $-Taper Lite steel (R110, S115)

The Forged TEC X is a new category of player’s game-improvement irons that are even more forgiving. Features include a lower CG design, lower profile, a slightly thicker topline, and stronger lofts than the Forged Tec irons. The foam-filled, cast hollow body design utilises a massive 65g tungsten weight to lower CG and maximise stability for higher launch despite the stronger lofts. With a clean player’s shape, soft forged-like feel and extreme forgiveness, mid to high handicaps can look and feel like a better player while benefitting from the game-improving technologies.
