Another Successful Edition Of The Crowd-Drawing Invitational Drew To A Close

Mr Martin Low, Managing Director of Hansgrohe Singapore, welcomed participants and guests to the Hansgrohe Golf Invitational 2023 held at Tanah Merah Country Club, Tampines Course last September. The German manufacturer of luxury fittings for kitchen and bathrooms has been hosting the crowd-drawing event for over two decades and returned after a break during the pandemic with the same enthusiasm and energy as before.

The 2023 golf tournament, organised by Portfolio, the corporate lifestyle publication of Media
Group, saw eager participation from Hansgrohe’s corporate partners and Portfolio’s readers—a group made up of captains of the industry and leading professionals who brandished extraordinary abilities on the golf course.

This year, the participants enjoyed a rousing tournament made more enjoyable by such activities as
lucky draws, novelty challenges, and tournament prizes. Although no one took home the hole-in-one prize of S$100k, sponsored by Tan Insurance Brokers, the tournament was nonetheless intensely fun. The heartfelt camaraderie was palpable throughout the day, from the golf course to the clubhouse, as the players gamely posed for photos and shared hearty refreshments.

Taylor Made sponsored the coveted prizes for the Novelty Challenges. A TM Stealth 2 Fairway Wood was awarded to Hubert Tang for driving ‘Nearest to Line’, a TM Stealth 2 Driver to Rob Shen for ‘Longest Drive’, and a TM Spider GT Putter to David Foo for ‘Nearest to Pin’.

Besides championship trophies, Gair Huat Kian, the tournament’s 2nd Runner Up, also won an adidas Palm Tree Slim Stand Caddy Bag; Raymond Tan, the 1st Runner Up, was handed a Cobra Aerojet Driver, while the Tournament Champion, Ricky Huang, walked away with a S$5,000 local shopping voucher for AXOR or Hansgrohe products.

The event was capped by dinner at Tampines Banquet Room where the prizes for the lucky draw, novelty challenges, and tournament winners were handed out.
