TELL US ABOUT THE DEVELOPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY BEHIND GOLFJOY.

LARRY WANG (LW): GOLFJOY, with 30 years of industry experience, technological advancements, application exploration, and research achievements, embodies a multidimensional integration of the team’s understanding of golf, respect and optimization of user experience, application scenario solutions, and exploration of golf business operation models. All these efforts are aimed at fulfilling GOLFJOY’s mission: Making Golf Easy & Fun, providing better indoor golf and recreational social options for golf enthusiasts worldwide.

WHAT SETS GOLFJOY APART FROM OTHER INDOOR GOLF EXPERIENCES?

LW: GOLFJOY places greater emphasis on user experience and attention to detail in product design and application scenarios. For example, our impact screens material meets the requirements for image clarity while maintaining the functionality of durability.

When anyone first experiences indoor golf, the initial impression is visual: whether the software graphics are realistic and detailed, whether the dynamic scenes are lifelike and smooth, and whether the player experience is immersive. our team spends a significant amount of time filming on site and creating a 4K resolution material library, capturing the essence and beauty of each course. Experience is a personal feeling; only by paying close attention can one discover the difference.

WHAT ARE THE KEY FEATURES BEHIND GOLFJOY TECHNOLOGY?

LW: With regards to technological features, GOLFJOY can vividly recreate grass, sky, water, clouds, sunsets, and trees and flowers, making you feel like you are on the real course, perfectly replicating real-life scenes. We use drone scanning technology to ensure precise replication of each course, with an accuracy error of only 5 centimeters. Even in areas where drone scanning is not possible, we use backpack laser rangefinders to ensure accuracy.

Another unique aspect of ours lies in the precision of our sensors/launch monitors, which is crucial for accuracy in trajectories, ball data and clubhead data. To achieve these exacting standards, we have invested heavily and are supported by a strong team of professionals with excellent academic backgrounds. We relentlessly pursue ultimate perfection, which embodies our dedication and efforts.

Another crucial aspect is the feel of ball control that players experience, especially for professional players and coaches who excel in swing and shot control. Our product must possess strong practice tool attributes to effectively assist players in their training.

We offer various functionalities such as swing posture analysis, clubhead data, and instant video playback of each shot and clubhead, enabling players to clearly observe their swing process and actions.

GOLFJOY currently offers 23 data points and is set to expand to 29, including various ball data, flight data, and club data. Those data that professional players focus on, providing detailed data support for training and teaching. Our high-frame- rate camera technology also offers highly detailed club head playback videos, showing precisely how the club face interacts with the ball and how the ball flies off, making it clear for players or coaches.

Our mission is to make golf easy and fun. We aim to achieve this through various practice tools and games such as “Island hop” “Happy Bombing” and other more skill demanded training games. These games lower the entry barrier to golf, a challenging sport, making it not only entertaining but also effectively enhancing skills. They make learning and training more enjoyable for both children and adults alike.

We utilize online multiplayer functionality to enable games through real-time connections, emphasizing social interaction. We facilitate not only socializing among acquaintances but also extend golfing social interactions to strangers worldwide. This isn’t just a game; it’s a social experience that allows you to play golf with people from around the globe, from New York to Amsterdam, London, Paris, and Singapore.

During online multiplayer matches, for those seeking more interaction, you can activate video calling features. This allows both players to converse and demonstrate their swing actions while ensuring privacy by not revealing sensitive information. We’ve also optimized speaker technology with meticulous acoustic design to enhance sound quality, aiming for the utmost perfection in user experience.

GOLFJOY currently features 150 courses and will expand to 200 by the end of this year. We are also in the process of developing several local Singaporean courses to cater to local golfers’ preferences for playing on familiar grounds.

WHERE CAN YOU FIND GOLFJOY IN SINGAPORE?

LW: Currently in Singapore there is one indoor golf that have facilitated GOLFJOY simulators comprehensively. Projects integrating GOLFJOY indoor golf simulators, data analysis systems for hitting bays, and outdoor entertainment systems are also underway. In Singapore, due to limited land availability and a decrease in the number of public golf courses, the government aims to increase golf participation rates under controlled site conditions and cost considerations.

A minimum of 16 square meters is required for a basic indoor simulator setup. For a more comfortable and spacious environment, spaces ranging from 40 to over 60 square meters are suitable. Screen sizes can also be adjusted proportionally based on the available space.
