record with a blistering 61 to take the halfway lead. An eight-under final round of 63 gave Uihlein a runaway victory over a star- studded field, with the comfortable seven-shot margin over Andy Sullivan of England and Caleb Surratt of Legion XIII highlighting his dominance. The series headed to Thailand for a two-week swing in October, and the iconic Black Mountain Golf Club in Hua Hin served up a surprise result with MJ Maguire of America claiming victory in a dramatic sudden-death play-off. Maguire carded a final round of 65 to edge in on 23 under and force a play-off with Catlin, who returned a 66. And as the heavens opened, Maguire claimed the spoils on the second time of asking on the par-five 18th. After sinking a 20-footer from the fringe for birdie to deny Catlin on the first play-off hole, Maguire held his nerve to sink a par putt and claim the spoils. Lee Chieh-po from Chinese Taipei finished one shot further back, with Campbell T4. The sixth event of the series was played out at the Thai Country Club on the outskirts of Bangkok, and for much of the tournament, the International Series England champion Uihlein looked sure to add to his victory in the summer with rounds of 64, 62 and 67 earning a three-shot lead going into the final round. But it was the talented Chinese-Taipei star Lee who claimed the spoils, with two closing birdies when it mattered giving a superb final round of 63 and a 21-under total. That was just enough to edge him past Uihlein (67), who had led all day but finished T2 alongside Richard T. Lee, with the in-form Canadian returning a final round of 62. Richard T. Lee ended a seven-year winless streak in style at the BNI Indonesian Masters, securing a dominant four-shot, wire-to-wire victory at Royale Jakarta for his third Asian Tour title. He hit the ground running with a stunning 10-under first round, and after building up a three-shot lead over Jazz Janewattananond of Thailand at the halfway stage, he increased that to six going into the final round with Ahmad Baig of Pakistan his nearest challenger. That lead was never in danger, with Lee claiming a four-shot win over Phachara Khongwatmai of Thailand and Wei-Lung Chan of Chinese Taipei Ben Campbell [above] and John Catlin [right] finished third and fourth on the rankings, respectively. 18
