Asian Tour Book 2024

W hile the Asian Tour continues to be the standard bearer for professional golf in the region, it also has an important relationship with many of Asia’s premier golfing venues – through Asian Tour Destinations. Asian Tour Destinations is an exclusive network of world-class golfing venues with direct ties to the Asian Tour. Presently, 13 golf clubs ‒ representing the top-tier of golfing properties in Asia ‒ are part of this affiliate network programme. Three Asian Tour Destinations clubs are in Thailand: Laguna Golf Phuket, Aquella Golf & Country Club, which is just north of Phuket, and Black Mountain Golf Club in Hua Hin. Two are in Malaysia: Kota Permai Golf & Country Club and Horizon Hills Golf & Country Club; two are Vietnam courses: Laguna Golf Lăng Cô and Legend Danang Golf Resort; and there are also two Japanese venues: Sapporo Country Club and The North Country Golf Club. The network also includes Angkor Golf Resort in Siem Reap, Cambodia; Indonesia’s Parahyangan Golf; and last but certainly by no means least Singapore’s Sentosa Golf Club – which was the first to join. The majority have regularly hosted tournaments on both the Asian Tour and Asian Development Tour. Most recently, Black Mountain Golf Club staged the Black Mountain Championship on the Asian Tour last year while Angkor Golf Resort held the inaugural ADT Players Championship presented by The R&A, also last season. Being part of Asian Tour Destinations means that each venue is certified Tour calibre and operates a comprehensive range of facilities and services to their members and guests under tournament-ready conditions all-year round. Through their association with Asian Tour Destinations, golf clubs are able to enjoy a wide range of branding and marketing benefits, as well as benefit from greater dialogue and networking with each member. Asian Tour members are also able to play and practice at each venue allowing members at each club to enjoy direct engagement with the region’s best golfers. Toro, Golfasian, 59club Asia and The Asian Wall Street Journal are the key partners of Asian Tour Destinations.
