The young Indonesian began poorly with four bogeys in his first five holes before he was able to get his game back on track. At the BNI Ciputra Golfpreneur tournament on the BSD course at Damai Indah Golf India’s Yuvraj Singh Sandhu took advantage of a hot putter to win by four shots. Playing in the penultimate group he posted a bogey-free round of 65 as his rivals fell by the wayside. Australia’s Aaron Wilkin shot a scintillating bogey-free 65 to win the BRG Open Golf Championship in Vietnam, posting the lowest score of the day to smash a seven shot deficit and seize victory. Overnight leader Lawson was unable to capitalise on his advantage and finished in solo second, one shot behind Wilkin, at Da Nang Golf Resort. Japan’s Naoki Sekito came through a shaky finish to win by two shots in the OB Golf Championship at Gunung Geulis Country Club, maintaining his overnight lead and holding off a hard-charging Wilkin. Sekito made back-to-back bogeys on 14 and 15, while Wilkin, still buzzing from his win in Vietnam earlier in the month, made birdie on four of the last six holes. However, a birdie by Sekito on 17 sealed the deal. Thailand’s Sangchai Kaewcharoen won in dramatic fashion on the second play-off hole to win the OB Golf Invitational presented by Sentul Highlands. Having forced himself into a play-off despite starting the day two shots behind the leaders, he chipped in to secure victory over India’s Khalin Joshi after the match was tied after three rounds. Remarkably, the following week, Lawson also chipped in on the first hole of a play-off to win the Indo Masters presented by TNE, beating Thailand's Charng-Tai Sudsom for his first win on the ADT.
