More than 130 golfers gathered at the Singapore Island Country Club on Thursday afternoon, 9th March 2017. The event started with a lunch for the golfers before they teed off. The game followed the Texas Scramble format, allowing golfers of all abilities to enjoy an exciting contest.

After the round of golf, guests were invited to cocktails before enjoying the buffet dinner and evening’s entertainment. The mood was upbeat as all swapped stories of the day’s play. During the dinner, DNV GL also presented the cheque of S$22,000 to the Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home.

“We enjoy hosting this event as this is not only a great way to bring our customers and partners together for a day of fun, it contributes to a great cause to support the underprivileged children in Singapore. It was especially gratifying to know that part of the money raised last year went towards the school fees of one of the residents who is planning to further his studies after completing his ‘A’ levels. I am very grateful to our supporters and sponsors and we look forward to having this tradition for years to come,” said Lukasz Luwanski, Regional Business Development Manager, Region South East Asia, India & Oceania.
