CELEBRATING DOUBLE 10
Taipei Business Association commemorates Taiwan’s national day with golf at Orchid Country Club.
A month before Taiwan’s national day of 10 October, the Taipei Business Association gathered 37 golf flights to celebrate the occasion at Orchid Country Club. Golf is just one of the sports featured in the celebrations with the others being basketball, tennis, woodball and badminton.
All flights were taken up within a week of the event’s announcement, reflecting the active community here in Singapore. UMC (United Microelectronics Corporation) was one of the Taiwan businesses who signed up their suppliers and customers as well as partners.
There were two hole-in-one prizes of $100,000 sponsored by a Taiwan business in Singapore, which unfortunately went unwon.
After the golf, a dinner at the Orchid Country Club Emerald Suite included a lucky draw with 60 great prizes given away. Prizes included three airline tickets sponsored by Taiwanese airlines Starlux, EVA Air, and China Airlines.
The Taiwan Business Association would like to thank all guests and sponsors for their kind and active participation in this year’s event.
