For years now, the only true entity to champion the growth of golf for the public was NTUC Club. It's management of Marina Bay Golf Course allowed anyone to play, for a fee , of course. Now that the course is closed, the country's golfing public is left grasping for straws. NTUC Club has gone the distance to make up for that. It has reinvented its offerings, and renewed its vigour at promoting the game in Singapore through myriad - if not, creative - avenues. Our story this month highlights the organisation's laudable efforts in putting golf back in the psyche of local, recreational players.
